Persecuted Church Prayer Station in AHOP

As we remember and pray for the persecuted church all over the world, a prayer station has been set up in AHOP highlighting the top 10 countries for Christian persecution. Please use these stations to pray, meditate, and reflect on the persecuted church and our brothers and sisters internationally who are sharing the gospel in dark places.

Manna Meal
Nicholasville United Methodist Church serves a weekly free meal to the community called Manna Meal every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. We are always in need of volunteers to cook, serve, greet, and clean up. Another special area that we could always use more people is in the area of visiting the guests who are being served. Many of these people have great stories to tell and sometimes they need someone just to listen. This is a great opportunity to experience ministry with people up close and personal.
If you are interested please contact Adele McKinney at momadele@aol.com or you can contact the church office at 859.885.4481 and ask who you need to talk to about volunteering for Manna Meal.

They need your help. The food bank is at the point of being bare. They are nearly at the point of having to close down if they do not receive donations. They serve people 5 days a week, plus weekends with referrals.
They especially need non-perishable items, mostly peanut butter and mac and cheese. You can drop them off at 205 South First Street in Nicholasville or at 204 North Maple Street, Apt. 4.
